An um..interesting week..
well, this is my first blog on GXG, and i need to give serious props to whoever started it. what would i do w/o you. anyways, so up untill lastweek i was in a bit of a rut, but that all changed when i joined our little family. all of a sudden there were others who liked the same lkinds of music that i do, people i could talk, and or RANT, to even at 3 in the morning.
my social knowlege has never been all that great, and i never knew much about the rave scene untill now. sure i had heard some, but it wasn't something i thought about. i can tell you it didnt take long for me to realize that it was my secret home. i made up my mind to find one, and living in massachusettes, that is easier said than done. but fate is leaning in my favor, Candy Ball 5 is cumming up in july.
i had a plan. thanks to retaking calc, my usual trip to florida was postponed untill after the 17 of july. as class is on tues/ thrs, everything was working out perfect. assuming CB5 is going to be held in the same place, i mapquested directions... 4 hrs total, nothing at all, to get there. i was in heaven
then my dear mother steped in and the music all but died. i found myself in an interesting position. i couldn't go by myself, but if i could somehow manage to get my sister and her fiance to come with, she wuld "talk" about it with my dad. i felt like i was questing for some mythic reasure...the master sword...? anywho, this meant proposing the argument to my sister. next paragraph...
...so i asked her, and though she had the day off, she also said no, but it was not the kind of no etched in stone, so there is still hope. she gets a trip to NY, and i get to go the CB. there may still be a way to convince her. TBC

So final verdict, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! well, it wasn't that dramatic, but yea, so ill be there in spirit and theres still CB6 so i wont despair. and to everyone whos goin, rave on people have a great time
