Work all day, work all night

Well, I suppose I'll try this blog thing out as well. I have never really maintained a blog before. I just read Gex's blog and it's pretty good so I'll see if I can find something to write about.

Wow. Maintaining a site is hard work. Especially when you are doing a major overhaul of all the features in it. It seems like there are always bugs to be fixed. Add on top of this two children and a job and you won't have any time to do anything. Eric and Alex have been really putting alot of time into the site as well, as they are usually on the computer until 3AM plus. Last night I went to bed at 4. Two nights before that I went to bed at 3:30. Four days ago I went to bed at 6:30 AM. Then I get to work by 8-9 in the morning. It is very time consuming but also very worth it. I'm happy with the new layout and features and it is nice to see all of our work come into fruition.

I have a lot of the excitement in GXG because I believe in it. I believe that Eric, Alex, and I have the necessary technical knowledge in order to make the site useful and nice. I believe that we have dedicated Mods that will be here to help with maintaining the rules for the site while remaining friendly to all. Finally I believe in the members of the site. The members are the heartbeat of any community.

Needless to say I'm very excited about the future of GXG.

Well, I suppose that I don't have anything else to write about for now. (And I need to get back to making more additions to the site).
