Jersey version 1.0

Posted 06-23-08 at 03:55 AM by Gex
I couldn't figure out how to edit a blog.

In a previous blog I talked about how I made an air hockey jersey.

This is the original of what I wanted.

This is how the shirt turned out. Yeah. I gotta get a new shirt and spray a new one. That didn't turn out how I would have liked.

Oh, we did play Air Hockey today, and I have two more wins. I'm 6 - 1 now. And next week are the All Star Games!! I'm leading my conference so I'm all up in that. It's gonna be pretty epic.

Some of you internet people may know that I live in South MS. There's nothing here. Hell, insurance has gone up so high there's nothing rebuilt on the beach since that hurricane two years ago. It's insane, and desolate. I never get to go to raves or dance clubs or anything cool or fun like that cause there aren't any here. I'd like to go to New Orleans but I don't have the spare cash right now to drive over there and all that. But, amidst all the not fun I normally partake in, a few buddies and I found a new beer last night. Keystone Light. It's $13.90 for a 30 pack. That's right, dirt fucking cheap. It gets the job done, too. Sure, it tastes like cheap wheat bread (not even the good stuff) but if you drink it fast enough and chase it with whiskey then you don't taste it anymore. (Yeah, I used liquor to chase beer) Ultimately, I'm a fan of German dark beers. It's hard to find a dark that's also not a turbo stout, but they do exist and I love them. But, if you're looking for a cheap drunk, then I suggest smashing a few stones! We came up with a few witty quips with the beer name last night. I forgot them. They were funny, though, so go ahead and let out a little chuckle and know that good humor has happened. (Kinda like that TBS commercial come to think of it)

What was neat is that last night after a few beers I really felt like stringing. So I promptly walked out to my car and got my strings and tied some fresh sticks on (I keep fresh sticks in my car, just in case I need to string on the go!). I practiced for a minute outside before going in where everyone could see me. I hadn't touched my strings yet that day and I wanted to get a feel real quick so I could account for the beers. After I got inside I started dancing in a dark room full of people and it was really cool. I've never had an opportunity like that. Everyone appreciated what it was that I was doing. I normally get the "you swing glowy things.....fag". I know they're normally joking, but to go an entire night without that was nice. Also, I never go all out when I string in front of people, and I did last night. Full on, gung ho, dancing till I'm sweating all over in this persons house and I didn't even have good music. It made me happy. I can only imagine what it's like when you're with other people that are as equally into it as you are. Eventually, but until then.

I forget where it was that I saw it on this site, but they said they were going to be looking for GXG reporters. I think that would be neat. I'm not half as qualified as someone should be, though. I use too many commas, for one. That and I wouldn't be qualified for party reviews or anything for many reasons. A: There aren't any here for me to go to.
B: I haven't been to other parties before so there's no basis for comparison.
Up until recently I've never thought of myself as a writer. But, the more I do it the more I enjoy it. I don't read much fiction, but I had a witty idea the other day ( I already forgot what it was) and thought I should write a story about it. Not like, hokey dumb shit, or a fan faction about Sephiroth and Cloud or something equally retarded. Don't hate me, but I've never liked Final Fantasy. They just didn't do it for me. The reporter thing is still pretty neat. I think if I were in a better location and had more experience under the metaphorical belt I would exercise the thought of applying.

Extrapolate is one of my favorite words. (Guess what's goin' on in my head, hah) It's a really good one. It's how I go through my day. Malevolence and Nihilism are also up there, at least top 10. Not for meaning, maybe just a little, but just because they sound and look neat. Because of that movie "Stranger than Fiction" I put a lot of thought into the word "Interger". It's fun to say if you annunciate well. Given that character liked the word for an entirely different reason but it's still fun. That's an incredible movie, by the way, for those that haven't seen it.

I think I should cut this off. If it seems that I type a lot, it's cause this is my outlet. I like to type and that word Extrapolation rears its head again. Thanks for reading, it's bed time.

- Roy

End Transmission.

oh.. I read to about the keystone part and had to stop because of something really funny. My bro called me up earlier. We were talking and my bday came up and it's pretty much pointless turning 20.. still can't do anything. He asked me if I drank beer and I said "yeah a little bit. Keystone light gets it done"
