Fourteen is my favorite number. In case anyone was wondering. Twenty-three is next, not because of the movie, I just like the number.

Last night was a pivotal moment for me. I went to Terrell and met Siler and we went to that party thing at the Afterlife. I finally met other stringers. I was inspired and disgusted at the same time. I know where I'm at now. I know there's a lot to be learned and that I'm not even half as close as I thought I was. That's cool, though, cause I think I've found a new motivation that I didn't have before.

However, I didn't a few things about most of the stringers there. They all did the same exact routine. There was no variation in style from one person to the next. And what got me is some guy had the audacity to tell me "You'll get there." Motherfucker, I can do more than three things! Sure the three things you can do are btb crossers and waistwraps and poor looking utl hopping around shit. Sure, it's all stuff that requires a degree of talent, but I'm really not impressed when that's it. I don't know, it was a little upsetting.

As for the club (I guess that's what you call it?) It was neat. The pavilion had a couple good dj's and so did the warehouse. That other building, ,however, was bangin'. There were a couple D&B dj's that spun later on in the night that were pretty fresh. D&B is why I wake up in the morning. Before that were some dj's, all with similar style (again with the similarities) that played a kind of music I wasn't really familiar with. It sounded neat and I have to research it some to find out exactly what it was. The bass that was involved with that music was intense. It didn't stop, it just desolated everything in its path like a horseman of the fucking apocalypse. I think I like it. But I also think it wouldn't be quite as good if it wasn't as loud.

Lets see. I broke a string last night. That may not mean much to some people but it is somewhat devastating to me. I had my 45 inch converse flat white laces. I've been wanting a longer lace so I could wrap my hand more, (it's more comfortable for me) but I really didn't want to stretch out another set of laces. I mean, I knew it would happen eventually, but it's still a little sad for me. 8( That was my sadface. The end of one thing is the beginning for another I guess, gotta make the most of it.

I'm still a little tired and obviously at a loss of words for many things. I know this one lacks the eloquence of some of my other blogs. I reckon I'm gonna leave it at this.
Thanks for reading.

Oh, update. The genre of music is called Dubstep. I'm listening to some right now and it is definitely better when it's louder. But, it's still kinda neat. I used to listen to a lot of rap and I got to where I liked the whole "screwed" Houston rap pretty good. So the slowed down feel that Dubstep has is okay in my book.
