I did, no lie, true story, real talk. Kinda been going without one for a while. Even been thinking about growing it out so I can be Nathan Explsion for Halloween this year. It would be awesome. "I need a hundred beers, exactly a hundred." I think I'm gonna grow my beard out soon too, so by winter I'll be rockin' some world destroying chin structure. I'll seriously resemble Rasputin or Nostrodamus or someone equally awesome. I can wear a beard like a champion. Only problem is it's already about 95 degrees in the shade here every day. Beards + heat + 9000% humidity = death.
I'm sunburnt. A lot. What it is, is that I've been trying to find people that actually like going outside and playing sports. Granted, I hate being outside, but I love playing sports. I gotta take the bad with the good. I mentioned the desire to play sports again to a couple buddies and low and behold they also have been looking for active people to play sports with. So yesterday we played some XtReme tennis. I'm not good at all, I'm actually pretty crappy, but I'm getting better. Played some home run derby today. That was fun, and it's been a while since I've hit a ball. (I've gotten better at stringing, oh the play on words)
And the end all...Oh the most epic sport ever...Wall Ball. I know at least some of you have played wall ball before. It's XtReme (the spelling makes it more extreme). Yeah, were making teams, getting some ground rules and recruiting more for a league. It's really a lot of fun, if any of you haven't ever played or it's just been a while, go out and find the back of a local KMart or something and get a game going.
Yesterday was Sunday and we all know what that means... Airhockey day... Team WAAGH! pulled out with another victory today putting me at 4-1. It was a pretty epic game. I was a few points up then The Holy Renegades ( he makes as many God references around my sister and I cause were staunch atheists ) then he started to catch up. A few goals later I walked away from the table victorious. A couple of us want to go play at the table at Chucky Cheeses cause it's about 2 feet off the ground and I'm 6'4''. It'll be awesome.
I'm gonna lay off the sports for a couple days to rest, I think. Been waking up sore all weekend and getting up to go run again is becoming painful. They started selling hackey sacks at work, though. I do that when I get bored, or just not doing my normal work. But that's not really a sport. I get glowsticks on the cheap now, too. It's pretty cool, but they normally don't have many. That and I don't really like the sticks. The blue ones aren't bright at all, and the other colors really just don't touch me that way. Then again, I don't ever spin in front of people so it doesn't really matter I guess. Still want a set of fire poi.
