I should be doing homework right now. I just thought I'd blog case it's been a minute. I think I'm going to just use numbers for blog titles, I saw Hypnotic did and that's what I do for MySpace. I reckon 10 is a fine place to start.

I'm knee deep in an essay right now. Read a story, pick an aspect of the story, write three pages about it. I read "The Chrysanthemums" by mister John Steinbeck. I decided to take a different route on the synopsis of the story. Rather, the symbols in the story. Instead of linking everything to sexual frustration, which seems to be the consensus, I'm justifying why everything is it's literal meaning and face value. Sure, the story is supposed to be chock full of symbols, but I'm working on the debunking of it. I'm in Comp 2, so I can't be told that my opinion of a symbol is wrong. What I'm trying to show the teacher is that I'm going to take a twist of the norm and still deliver a collegiate level essay. It's pretty much a pain in the ass. I just need to finish up the paragraph on the setting and make a closing paragraph then I'll be done. I'll add all the headers and random shit when I get to class tomorrow. Just the first draft is due tomorrow, I have to turn in the final copy on Tuesday. The story isn't bad, by the way. It's really about women in the 1930's and somewhat how they were segregated, then sexual tension/frustration between the main character (Elisa Allen) and her husband(Henry Allen) and the nomadic tinker(unnamed). It's not bad, it tells you how to grow a good chrysanthemum, and I learned how to spell that word because of it! See, essays do more than give you a grade.

Air hockey was canceled today. It's cool cause I needed to stay in and get this shit done. I still have a take home test in Algebra I need to do. I think I can hammer that out in an hour, though. There's not much long division on there(it's just not fun). Air hockey last week was fun, though. Some really good games. It was the All Star games. I only won one of my four I had to play. Probably some of the worst games I've played, but the competition was really strong so they totally deserve it.

Attention span is pretty rough right now, hence the blogging and not doing homework. Heh. I gotta go get a wisdom tooth yanked out tomorrow after class so I've been on pain killers the past few days. Nothing crazy, it's all over-the-counter stuff. I don't do anything that's not prescribed to me by a doctor. Oh, but the attention span. I credit the lack thereof to the anti-histamine that's also in the pain killers I'm taking. I figured I'll have clear sinus' while I'm at it. We have this huge fucking bottle and I figured I'd just take that instead of getting new stuff that'll do the same job. So that anti-histamine stuff along with the I-never-take-drugs thing I've been high as a kite for the past few days. I'm assuming that's what it is. But I've been fucked up since I've been on the pain pills. And I'm not taking more than what the bottle says to, sooo...

So I've finally cleaned up my btb reverse weave and I need to learn the forward now so I can get those waistwraps. (I saw someone mention butterfly waistwraps and I think that sounds more fun than the normal ones) I remember watching videos of people doing things like waistwraps and meltdowns and isolations and shit like that thinking I'll never be at that level. It's kinda neat to go outside and practice and see that I am there now. It's a cool feeling. Getting that butterfly meltdown was really nice. Kinda figured it out while standing in the park with a couple buddies. Figuring things out without a tutorial is nice.

This guy is a fuckin' asshole.

There was a little shindig last night I went to. It was kinda weird. I was told there would be and expected, more people there. Shit happens.

A lot of stuff has been kinda kooky lately. I was so excited when I got a phone call yesterday afternoon. It's the first time in a long time that I've talked on a phone for an hour. It was really good to hear from her. I've never missed someone like that. It's wild.

Either way, I think that's all for this broadcast.

End Transmission.
