a story..

this is a story of tonight.. the one year anniversary of genxglow.com.. this is gonna take u minute.. really..

alright so i'm in seattle.. have been for a week.. just happened to have the day off which is most excellent.. and also the reason i haven't been on much today..

so i got up about 11 (18 hr day sunday so i slept in a bit.. yay!!) and got myself put togther just in time to meet my sister and niece for lunch.. incidentally i've seen my parents, 2 sisters/bro-in-law, 2 nieces, and 1 nephew this week.. pretty cool cuz it's been a year and a half.. so we have lunch and it's awesome and then i cruise back to my hotel and call this girl emma..

emma is a super cute hippy chick i met at pikes market a few days ago and who i'm supposed to go out with today.. well, she sends me a text to the affect of 'my boyfriend took the car..' note the key word in that sentence.. yea, she dropped the BOYFRIEND bomb on me.. well fuck it.. i'm not gonna let it ruin my day right?? nope, i'm gonna ride the ferry!!

i took the ferry from seattle to bainbridge island.. it was fucking awesome.. i love water and boats and oceans winds and birds and i just love it.. the ride was awesome.. i walked around the island on a coffee adventure but nothing og interest happened..

now, the ride over had been cloudy and grey.. the ride back was gorgeous.. late afternoon sun over the water and just enough clouds for light to splash on.. like a fucking postcard.. wish you were here.. and i do!! anyway, so now that you've got my nearing sunset picture in your head, add to it me stringin.. hells yea i found an out of the way spot where i could watch the sun go down and swung almost the whole way across.. it was fucking awesome..

so post first ferry i come home, hop on here of course =) and go back out cuz i wanna ride the ferry again. of course i do!! but this time i'm gonna do it at night.. and i'm gonna bring my led sockpoi.. yea bitches.. mostly i just enjoyed the ride on the way over, but on the way back i had the whole upper deck to myself.. so i cranked up some happy hardcore on the ipod and swung all over the upper deck.. now this is about 11:30 so it's nice and dark and all the city lights are shining and reflecting and glowy and i have the deck to myself and it's fucken sweet..

towards the end of the ride a cute girl who worked on the boat came up and asked what i was doing.. so we chatted it up for a bit and nothing really came of anything but it was cool..

so i get off the ship and start walking to the hotel and i'm still swinging of course cuz the streets are mostly empty and i can and another girl comes up to me..

so yea, i'm dancin and swing my way up the sidewalk and this super cute girl comes up to me and asks if she can swing my shit.. hell yea you can.. =) so i let her swing my poi and she was pretty good.. she was all liquidy and smooth and fun to watch.. i think her name was maghera (ma-gair-uh) i think?? could def b wrong but it was unusual and pretty and so i gave her a present!! =)

i'm going into canada tomorrow (today actually.. it's late.. always is..) and i needed to be rid of anything extra-curricular.. i had about an eight of delicious chrons which i gave to her right on the spot.. sharin' the love bitchez..

so i walked with her for a bit and we pass this security guard chick who says 'you swing poi??' hell yea!! she said she wanted to swing but couldn't cuz she was in uniform but then she was all like 'fuck it can i swing??' so i handed my sox off and she went at it for a bit.. how cool is that?? met 2 chicks who swing poi in the space of like, 10 minutes.. random right?? pretty awesome i feel..

so we continued traveling on in our mutual direction and we swung by this club so she could find her friends who had gone to a show.. turns out the show ended an hour before.. turns out she didn't have anybodys phone number.. and turns out shes from bellingham which is a bit of a ride from seattle.. so the poor thing is fucked and i was trying to help her but she just ran off in search of her friends.. i really hope she found them.. really a lot hope she did..

so yea that was my day.. happy b-day gxg!!
