ecstasy

I've been waiting for this night.
Night of complete and utter bliss.

I am prepared to jump down the rabbit hole and explore.
I am ready to fly.

Down the hatch chased down with precious liquid.
It's not going to be long now until i starts.

relaxed and waiting.
Smiles and jokes suddenly turn to
Hugs and massages.
The music we were listening to gets
a little bit louder and more meaningful.
The lights get a little more brighter and
more interesting to watch.
Friends wave lights in front of my face
and I can't help but smile.

I see the rabbit and
I start to run.

It's our game you see?
I jump down and chase after this creature
or
feeling if you will.
It's just something that no one can really explain.
But all I know is that it's not what everyone thinks.

Sure this enlightened feeling is only temporary.
And my mouth/jaw is going to be sore the next day.

But it is what it is called
and no one can change the way I feel.
Ecstasy.
