Glum is a great word. Very onmonopoaetic. And that is almost certainly misspelled. But yes. I don't know where this is coming from, why it's coming now...no that's a lie. I am back in Bloomington, and it is eating my soul. Three days in chicago, and it has become totally unbearable...I have determined that my greatest fear, my neverending hell, would be life in central illinois, trying futilely to explain to people why I am the way I am, love who I love, feel what I feel.

so, I am laying in bed this morning at maybe 4:15, 4:30, sleeping peacefully. and then I'm sort of slowly waking up, going...wait...is someone knocking on my door?

someone was knocking on the outside wall of my house. right above the headboard for my bed. and laughing maniacally. and calling for help.

freaked me out. so I call the police, because really...I'm a woman, I live alone, and there is someone pounding on the wall of my house. and...

I just had to share. We are down to mere hours friends. Like less than 8 of 'em. I made it. Grades are done, school is done, and now all I have to do is press the robe and hood and eat lunch with my family and I get to graduate. It's been a long time coming and it feels amazing. AAAANNNNDDD the sun hasn't been out in a week and now it's shining. It feels like it's just for me!
