First of all, welcome to GenXGlow.com! Your Online Destination for everything Rave Culture Worldwide. This article is an introduction to our site's policies and basic stance on different issues.

RULES

The rules... Here at GenXGlow.com we don't have many but the few we do have we asked that they be followed. If you cannot abide by these rules, which in reality don't require much, then you will be first warned and then banned.

THE FIRST RULE
Be respectful. We here at GXG want to promote an atmosphere of friendliness and respect. Treat others as you would want to be treated. This means no racism, sexism, or any type of bigotry will be allowed. It's that simple.

THE SECOND RULE
Absolutely no promotion of crews, gangs, or whatever you want to call it. You can have a group of friends that you enjoy hanging out with. That is not a crew. But when your group of friends steps over the line by encouraging a "battle" and/or oneupmanship it will not be tolerated. This has in the past led to harm on human beings, and we will not allow this to be a part of our site.

THE THIRD RULE
Follow rules 1 and 2.

POLICIES

SPAMMING
Spamming and/or promotion of other sites. First of all, we want to clarify some misconceptions. If you come on GXG and you post a few videos, and some of them have logos or information for other sites, we do not feel this is spam. However, if you come to GXG and all we see from you is blatant advertising and link-building you will be talked to. Just use some common sense and you'll realize what would be seen as spam and what wouldn't.

TALKING ABOUT GXG AND OTHER SITES
Here at GXG we simply ask that you refrain from talking negatively about our site and other sites that may or not relate to the content of GXG. Many sites have had a lot of time and effort put into them, and we do not want to brand our site as one that simply exists to degrade their efforts or try make ourselves look better. At the same time, however, we don't mind constructive criticism and if you wish to voice an opinion about things that could be done, feel free.

MORALS

GLOWSTICKING/GLOWSTRINGING
Lets be real guys, glowsticking is fun. You can do it for that reason, or you can do it because it is a way of expressing yourself. Many consider it a form of art and/or a form of meditation. No matter what your interpretation of glowsticking, you need to enjoy what you are doing. If you want to string at a club or in public its your choice. Many say that this should be tabooed. What we will say is that it all really comes back on the individual. It's all about the mindset and the attitude of which that person has. You should know if you have the wrong mindset. If you are there just to show off, you
are wrong. Also, if someone comes up to confront you, don't be prideful, instead just walk away and don't try to show them that you are better. In the end, who's better really doesn't even matter, because its about having a good time. I also want to talk about those who have the attitude of 'I'm better than you.' This is the wrong attitude. If this is you, instead of being haughty you should instead be willing to reach out to those who don't have the skill set that you have and teach them. In the end though, no matter what anyone may say, it is really about having a good time with your friends.

DRUGS
GenXGlow.com does not support any substance that is illegal in the United States. We will not look down on you if it your choice to partake in these substances, but we will not promote or encourage it.

CONCLUSION
Hey, we hope that this has helped you to see what kind of website we really are. We want to encourage you to have a good time, meet some new people, and make some new friends. Our main goal is for you to enjoy yourself on our site, no matter the reason you are here.
