Default Advanced Buzzsaw Tutorial - 11-01-07, 08:53 AM

Here's a vid that shows some of the more advanced buzzsaw moves possible...there are quite a few more that aren't listed, but this covers quite a few.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll augment the video with instructionals if necessary.
Also, if you have any feedback concerning my tutorials (or other tutorials you would like me to make/post) and what I could do better next time...please let me know...these two are my first tutorials ever done. It definitely isn't perfect (and I think I sound like an idiot...lol), but it is what it is. I kinda get messed up on the names at a spot or two cause it's not easy to think up the names of some of those moves while you're doing 'em

Hopefully someone can glean something from this video. If I help at least one person, it was worthwhile.

I think you need to break down all the bits with slowed (either by yourself or through a program) movements, added text, and other editing goodies, and the tuts will be perfect - they'll sure as hell last a while, so you might as well spice them up and make them look nice. Otherwise, it's without a doubt that you are made of awesome and win, and, therefore, you win at life.

Great tutorials, rock on =)

Yes...exactly...you've got it. And if you want to do one anti-spun and one regular spin, try doing the split-time weave hand motions while executing a butterfly move or butterfly hand motions while executing a weave move. Hope this helps rather than confuses you!

when you do the buzzsaw, how far apart should you keep your hands/poi apart, or is it just a matter of preference?

Well, I always try to get them as close as I can without hitting them together. Although, I'm sure you could do pretty much whatever you wanted to. I figure by having them close together, it appears that they are in the same path, which I think would look a lil better, but it's all preference.
