Six years ago, DJ Rozz, a young teenager with a love for dance music decided he wanted to do more than just listen to the music he loved. He wanted to mix it himself and make people wanna dance. With inspiration from the movie Juice, Rozz was determined to make his dream come true. Low and behold, a DJ was born. He dubbed himself DJ Rozz (ask him what it means, and I bet you, he won't tell!)and bought his first set of turntables. With connections from a well known DJ, TKC, he managed to learn some tricks of the trade, and score some promo records from him as well. Rozz studied the way Chris would scratch, and blend one song into another, and soon adopted his own mixing style. He practiced everyday, and soon, he was making his own mixes, just for practice.In 2000, DJ Rozz began to work on his first cd, Club Excursions 2001, the Progressive Era. He started out with a live mix, but half way through, he decided to use his computer to finish it. He added drops, samples and scratches, and in February 2001, the cd was released.In the summer of 2001, Rozz began to make his second cd, Something for the Clubkidz. But right before the cd was to debut, he was told that he had to change the name, because another DJ had a series called "Something for the Clubheads." After much consideration, he chose Clubkidz Unite; meaning a tribute to the tragedies that happened on September 11th. Finally, in January 2002, Clubkidz Unite was released.A week after the release of Clubkidz Unite, Rozz went to Club Amazon in Madison, and brought along a copy of the cd.

Providing some of the hardest pounding bass the east coast has yet to hear this DJ/Producer, has been the apple of the electronic music industries eye for nearly 3 years now, and is one of the most recognized U.S. Hardhouse names along the east coast. In the summer of 2002 along with Joshua Perry-aka-Oompa Loompa, Tom co-founded Airplane Clique out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Putting together a large variation of hot traxx and doing mass promotions, AC has grown to be a prominate company in the mid-west. Now with 13 DJs on their roster, the Airplane Clique without a doubt has nothing short of a top-notch dj headlining it all. DJing since late '92 and making beats since '97, Jimmy X is determined to push his style of music to a new level where he can make his mark on the US Hard House and Hardcore scenes. In the fall of 2001, Jimmy X collaborated with DJ/Producer Mike Flores and released his first record "Plastic" on Musik Faktory. During the following years, he's worked with Nivek Records, remixing a track for the group Xxon called, "It's Gonna Take a Miracle" produced by Doug Lazy. After his second release, he created Kryptic Music. This inspired him to create more tracks and become more dedicated to the scene. In 2003 he licensed his "What's So Funny" track to Topaz Records for DJ Venom's "Straight Bangin 3" album. Currently, he's working on tracks and promoting his new online radio show - "Kryptic Radio" and is focused on supporting the the DJ's and Producers in the US Hard House and Hardcore scenes. He has also joined forces with Resistance Recordings, AC Hardcorps, Volume Productions, and Domestic Disturbance to help promote his ideas and visions. So keep an eye out for this kid, he is coming on strong!

Splatterhouse, real name Jon Jon Pilapil, began mixing in 1999, at a time when US hardhouse was coming to, what many thought, its end. In order to fuel the fire he started with mixing he taught himself to produce, and after learning the ropes he was unleashing his sonic style upon the underground in 2001. Soon his talent reached the ears of those with similar agendas such as DJ tronic ( Resistance Recordings CA ) and Tom Sawyer ( Airplane Clique, OH ). Airplane Clique Hard Corps, based out of Cincinnati, OH became his first major DJ affiliation and home of his debut vinyl release. With newly made connections across the US, Splatterhouse along with Distorted Trauma's Ballistic Ali aim to destroy eardrums with devestating beats. Moving forward into 2005, Splatterhouse's goal is to keep the US hardhouse sound alive and push it even further. Now with his unique headstrong style gaining momentum among listeners with each performance, big things await Splatterhouse and Domestic Disturbance.

Arguably one of SoCal's fastest rising stars. Manik has been blowing up the California scene for the last 4 years now. He comes correct, briging the crowd only the best and freshest in Hard Trance, UK Hard House, and Hard Style. What seperates him from the rest is his ability to scratch and utilize turntablism into his sets. He really is a DJ you cannot take your eyes off of for a second, otherwise you might miss something. Manik has also been working in the studio and has been recently signed been to Total Wipes Productions (Italy) and will be coming out with a number of releases which cover the genres he supports.

Danny The Wildchild

Danny the Wildchild aka Daniel Garcia was born on the South side of Chicago in 1977. The brother of a once aspiring DJ, he keenly watched and quickly learned the tricks of the trade. Danny began djing at age nine soon surpassing his brother's abilities and eventually inherited his equipment and records. At twelve, Danny entered a Chicago area contest for young DJ's and won. He took home that fifty-dollar prize and was called "The Wildchild" from that day forward. Although Danny's roots were as a Hip-Hop DJ, he was eventually introduced into the Chicago Rave scene and to the world of drum-n-bass. He enjoyed this new form of music, but also loved hip-hop and began to creatively blend the two genres creating a unique sound of his own. As Danny's turntable talents grew, he began to incorporate scratching and DMC style battle tricks into his Drum-n-Bass sets. His precise mixing skills and unique style and sound gave him the opportunity to bring Drum-n-Bass into the DMC and Hip-Hop scenes. Danny's recognition has earned him a collection of praises from domestic and international magazines such as Mixer, Thousand Words, Faqt, and Lotus to name just a few. Danny was also featured as one of the people making waves in the scene in Urb's Next 100 Artists to Watch Issue. Today Danny has become one of the most valued U.S. Drum-n-Bass DJ's. His unique blends of jungle and Hip-Hop beats and amazing scratching and beat juggling have proved to be show stopping. His talents have brought him to perform in venues worldwide and opening up for such acts as Eminem, Method Man, The Jungle Brothers, De La Soul, Moby, Goldie, MixMaster Mike and The Pharcyde. Danny also toured extensively throughout Europe with DJ Q-bert in 2002 (see djqbert.com). Although most weekends he is on the road, he still has time to host the 12midnight slot on Chicago's Alternative Radio station Q101FM and is gotten back in the studio. In March, the Wildchild released a follow-up to his 1999 12" release on Bad Boy Bill's Canvas label. His first effort at mix CD culminated in the release of "Danny The Wildchild: Booked" (March 2001). The Wildchild's was the first in a series of "Booked" CD's from Chicago's Strictly Hype Recordings. This was followed by the successful release of his latest CD in 2002 on Surge Recordings entitled "Fully Sorted".

Craig Alexander has been a staple in Chicago House Music for 20 years. His love for the music began in the early 80's when he attended The Muzic Box where he heard the Legendary Ron Hardy play for the first time. Listening to Ron helped him develop a style all his own that has rocked dance floors all over the world. Craig's played alongside everyone from Glenn Underground, Paul Johnson & DJ Rush to Lil Louis. His musical journey has taken him to several places including France, Switzerland, & Germany to name a few. Craig has put out projects on TrackMode,High Octane, Spywire, and Dusttraxx. His song "Groove Mission" was a must have for DJ's everywhere and his latest project on Interstellar "Love Boat is sure to be a winner. Craig's soulful grooving style will have you moving from the beginning of his set to the end. You can expect a lot more of the production side of Craig in the near phuture. De La Mota is a product of the Chicago underground with a long history in the Chicago rave/underground scene, both as one of the biggest promoters in the Midwest during the late 1990's rave scene, also in the drum n bass underground for being major contributor / supporter to the local scene, along with m1d1, establishing the Midwest's largest drum n bass dj collective known as the "M.I.A." and he also founded "Sur America Records" releasing 2 12" records by Danny the Wildchild, Out Of Order and Locked&Loaded all Chicago producers. Since his start as a DJ in 1994 he has played all over the Midwest from Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and as far as Albany New York, Troy New York,Denver Colorado. Houston and McAllen Texas, legendary drum n bass nights including Respect in Los Angles California @ the bee in April 07 and at many Konkrete Jungle night around the country including the original Konkrete Jungle @ pyramid in New york city. M1D1 is a DJ, producer, drummer, engineer, owner of Combat Records, and co-founder of the M.I.A. (a 20+ dj collective based in Chicago). His sound can be described as the 'hardest' in the MIA, but he can also play with a techy dancefloor vibe as well. By learning how to spin from the most talented djs in Chicago, and witnessing the 'greats' in the rave scene, M1D1 picked up all the REAL dj moves....from the best of the best! M1D1 uses these dj skills, of the old school 'jungle dj', and brings them to the new post rave DNB scene (like long blends, alot of crossfader action!....tearing it out!!!) Oh!! and dont expect him to play all the same old songs either. M1D1 sets will always contain the newest hot tunes.....tunes you are guarenteed to be hearing for the FIRST time! M1D1 tunes also range from deadly to techy dancefloor...with heavy subs and roaring synth leads, old school drums and new programming, the tunes are getting better and better! M1D1 has been staple in the underground dance community since the mid '90s, after throwing countless Chicago rave parties and performing many Live PA's. As the years passed, he found his musical direction changing, heavily influenced by darker drum'n'bass labels such as MetalHeadz, Renegade, and Virus. Seeing as he was no stranger to the jungle vibe (original RIPE PRODUCTIONS circa 1992...bigups!)...it became his main focus . Around this period (1999-2000) M1D1 started making demos and sent them around to DNB labels and web forums, resulting in good feedback and support, but no release. More CDs were sent, this time to labels in the UK, and still no release. This lead to the forming of Out Of Order (a dnb group made up of M1D1, NanoTech, and Techlife), and with the help of Jack at Chopstick Dubplate & Phono (Leet Recordings), M1D1 and Out Of Order released their first release on M1D1's new label Combat Records (2004). Deciding to take control of his own destiny, M1D1's focus then turned to his label, pouring everythining into it, to make it happen. Currently with the mild success of Combat and the birth of the 'digital label', M1D1 has now stepped away from Out Of Order on his own and stepping away from Combat (just a little!) to focus on MUSIC. With releases and remixes/collabrations with great artists and DJ gigs across Chicago and the US, M1D1 plans to play your town any day now.
