To answer ALL of you perople, its simple really why they do these things. It was never about the drugs my friends, its all propaganda. We are ravers we are hated, I'm serious too, we are absolutly hated, why because that is what the people in power want. IT doesn't matter if its legal or any of that stuff, even if you win the lawsuit, they're goal is still achieved. The community will see those news reporters and they're mainstream bull crap and hate ravers even more. Propaganda, propaganda, propaganda, that is American history, the declaration of independence, Propaganda, only 1/3 of the negative things listed about King Geroge is true. Mccarthy, HUGE propaganda, got the Secretary of state fired for something he never did, same time period, Mccarthy accused famous people who were on the opposite party, like movie stars and they became blacklisted. It doesn't matter if its truth or not, its sad I know, but that is why we are Ravers.

IF this world was good and true to what it said, why must we fight for PEace, Love, Unity, and respect. Why must we fight for gay rights, why must we fight to party the way we want to party, why must we fight to be people we want to be. They call us a culture of escape, same with Gothic culture and rock culture, its all propaganda, it doesn't matter. That is why All of you, EVERYSINGLE ONE OF YOU!!!! Must not give into this bull shit. Screw the laws of soceity because society has allowed the world to end up like this. 300 fucken years for slavery to end in the "land of the free". Honestly, when I first read it I thought it was raver propaganda, I was too naive at the time to fully understand that this is possible. Any lawyer can easily fight the goverment because of this issue, it can be taken directly to the supreme court if the cards are played correctly, and then the supreme court with its federal power can intervene and help us. Honestly, today, the ONLY thing in this world to save Ravers from the negative propaganda is the supreme court. However, is there any raver lawyer out there? That is why we can't defend our selves. Our movment is still young and vulnerable, and since its so close to the hippy revolution... what would you expect from the goverment? Open arms?

Several of us have spent a long time looking for any information on the results of the lawsuuits, or anything along those lines, WHAT IS THE AFTER MATH!!! I would like to request that the news group please researc hthis. When this came out, I looked hard then to, but it lost media coverage and I couldn't get any more information. This is an EASY lawsuit, SO FRECKEN EASY!! Give me a fucken constitution and I could drag this case to the supreme court. someone busted me and my friend for just being out past curfew to get a pepsi, and there was a drug deal like three blocks over in the opposite direction! so they search me, take all our shit and my friend's cigarettes we were LUCKY to keep our phones

and take us home leaving half my backpack at my friend's with a good 400$ worth of technology in it and medicine I NEEDED to take, and when I expressed my concern about my medicine he just said "you can get it tomorrow"

3. the swat acted so strong casue there was alot of drugs there. they werent there to gain assistance of the local security, they were there to shut it down! why?

Exactly, but one thing I disagree with. You said a war that we will lose. YOUR WRONG!!! We will WIN!!! Why, because its been prooven we can win! PROOVEN!! The answer to the court problem my friend is simple, grow up. As generation after generation of ravers poor into the total population of America, then soon our culture will be listed in the mainstream list next to Hip hop and punk and stuff. Once that happens, they can't touch us like they did at this event. The crowd was unarmed, harmless, plus thye were willing to listen, yet what I saw and hear are the exact things the Chinease did to put down the Tibet revolution. I won't lie, Our police are much nicer than the Chinease police, but looking at the methods, they're the same. Yes, you are probably right about the drugs, but that still doesn't explain why the fuck us. Don't get me started on the ammount of drugs located in the Hip-hop scene, rock scene, punk scene, EMO SCENE, god frecken crap some Rappers sing about killing cops and they really have done it too, yet why must we get oppressed.

I personally think its because of the way Rave culture evolved, its absoultly Amazing. The only other thing in the world that spread as quickly as we did is Levi's Jeans, its absoultly phenominal, unheard of. Yet millions of human beings world wide talk about the vibe and preech about freedom, of peace, of justice, of unity, of love ruling over all. At first it was treated as a fad so they didn't neccessarily care, but it was no fad, common raves in China have the statue of liberty near the DJ, Ravers in Australia use thousands of acres for huge events that the police acctually volunteer to to do security for. HOLY SHIT IN GERMANY, a few years ago they actually shut down the entire city of Berlin for a weekend and just had a massive rave, THE ENTIRE FUCKEN CITY!(well, they didn't really issue a thing to everyone to shut down, the companies jsut gave everyone the weekend off because it would have been impossible to get business done) What did they call it...Love parade or something like that. Why the hell can't we be accepted here, in the Land of the free, where very language and culture known to mankind exists. Why us in particular compared to millions of other adelecents that are actually out there commiting felonies. Even with the drugs, I can't peice together why we are targeted so aggresively, very little people die at Raves, people don't get raped, they get seduced, We're fucken supporting peace and love, not cop killing and gang banging, Why why why why why, Politicians are so confusing, people born before the 60s are confusing.

Okay, first off....that's total and utter bullshit about the way that the whole 'shut-down' went down! Police have authority to exert the government's power over people....but not their own PERSONAL anger and frustration!! Definitely a case of excessive force and I'm ashamed more didn't come out of this to help prevent future events such as this.

As far as drugs go....if you're gonna do them, be SMART about it...don't buy from random people EVER!!! Not only are you not ensured a good product, but the prices are higher and so is the RISK (for you and EVERYONE!)!!! If you really want to do shit, do it BEFORE the party. I'd prefer it if you just kinda avoided all that for the most part (MOST part....). Don't do deals and shit in the open...be stealthy and intelligent!

As for the comparison of drugs her as to other places....honestly, I don't know how many drugs WERE there. I've been to parties that were WAY over the top with drugs 'in attendance.' Hell, at the cave last summer I was offered EVERY drug except heroine and opium....seriously....if that's not a bad name for us ravers, I dunno what is!! However, back to my point: there might not have really been that much at this event. The fact that the cops didn't release definite resultant information leads me to question their motives. My guess is they thought it was WAY worse than it actually was (mark one for the ravers!). Honestly, I've been to enough rock concerts to know that there are a lot of drugs there....mostly pot though (which the DEA is slightly less concerned with compared to LSD and MDMA...possibly part of the reason for the bust). It'd be hard to say that there were MORE drugs there, but honestly, I'll stop being callous and say that yes, there probably WERE more drugs there than at most shows of THAT magnitude (1500 ravers is a small group for any 'large' event, but I'm sure there were plenty of substances....trust me, I'm not THAT jaded). Not that I agree that it should have been shut down!

In the end, the government HATES free thinkers and has always done the most within their 'power' to dispell all those who choose their own path. This is just one case. In the future, we must use legal channels to fight against these sort of illegal actions against our culture (cause these actions were definitely unconstitutional....and therefore, illegal!). In the future, just be smart, don't bring a bunch of drugs to the party to sell, don't even buy stuff at the party!! If you wanna do something, either do it before, or smuggle it in on your own....afterall, it should be your own risk, really.
