ya well plur deffinatley effected my life yo, ermm a while ago before i even heard of plur or was really invovled in the rave scene i dealt with stuff negatively. it was more of my way of coping with all the shit that was going on around me at the time, (to numerous to name) i didnt really want to make friends and i just stayed at home and be pissed off more or less, altho probably now that i think about it, friends was just what i needed at the time, soo when i adopted plur yanno that changed..like alot, not over night but the more i thought about what it, realllllly ment because there some important words. its not just a cliche of the rave scene. the more i became open to people, and really wanting to help out people as well as love them for who they be and hopefullly get the same in return. and i hadnt been that way scence i was foookin 6 years old. so deffinately helped me out and had a positive effect on my life

I wasn't so much anti social but I didn't think there was "good" people out there. Now I know there is and it's all good.

I would so take candy from any one of you GXG peeps lol.

There's a thread or two out there where someone asked about the scene and what not. If you haven't read those already then maybe that's something you should look for. They might help you come up with something.

hmmmm well to me plur has changed my way of looking at people and how they look at me. i used look at people and kinda judge right there on the spot (lame i know). having said this i kinda thought people did the same towards me so i be came less out going then i was. then i started glowstringing and found this site and plur. At 1st i found this site and was alil iffie about socializing here, but every1 was so nice and so much plur going around i decided this place was amazing and havent left since. it has shown me how chill people are and thought me 2 do the same

Well, plur is everywhere (or has the potential to be everywhere). It isn't just something that is native to the rave scene. These ideals have transcended time in many cultures for thousands of years. However, just in the past 25 years or so, have they been collected together into this acronym, which has become the facade of rave culture.

To me, it is much more than four letters....it's also much more than the four (or even six) words that make up this mantra. To me it's all about being the best person you can be. Not just at parties, not just with your friends.....but every SINGLE MOMENT of every day! You should always treat people with love and respect in a peaceful way in an attempt to bring unity to civilization in general. It's just not right to be any other way. Life is much too short to waste time/effort on anger, fear, hatred or disrespectful notions. Don't judge people on first impressions, but try to get to know and love them for who they are (even if you don't want to be their friend or don't agree with their opinions/mind-state). This is PLUR in a nutshell for me.

this is plur.... and we have it here. we have to share it everyday. we can do it. we can bring it back to the real meaning being the first thing that comes to mind, everytime plur is mentioned...

not my official statement: PLUR means JACKSHiT! nowdays almost none of the new generation knows what it is, or if they do they don't practice it. the slightly older rave gen. knows what it is and try to keep it alive. at least in the mainstream scene.

iTs true a lot of the new kids that are getting into the scene nowadays are solely for the drugs (not all but more then 1/2 id say) ITs sad really thats ppl will ask you what plur means and look at you strange when you explain it to them. Raveing isnt bout drugs or seeing 1/2 naked girls. ITs bout the music and being part of soemthing bigger then yourself. Its bout stepping into the venue and instanly feeling accepted like your part of a family and not afraid to be judged for being who you are.Granted the drugs are a part of our scene and that will never change, BUT the drugs ARE NOT what our scene is about.
