"I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing."
"But," say Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED."
"Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't though of that" and promply vanishes in a puff of logic.

ITs a category 3 right now, and with global warming the way it is the gulf is EXTREMLY warm, it'll be a 4 without a doubt. My area has been warned, but before it hits us, it would have to cross land. The predicted path however seems to be heading toward New Orleans... AGAIN! Right behind it, literitily Hanna is coming, but it won't hit the gulf coast. GLOW!! ME and you buddy!!! We gota survive through this stuff!!!

Oh man, the rain just started down here. It's coming in waves. And it's already getting dark a couple hours ahead of schedule.
I'm glad Heath got out, we learned last time that the levees can't really be trusted, heh. As for me, I never evacuate. Then again I'm not below sea-level. I'm not exactly above it, either. Meh.
I bought some more glowsticks yesterday. I was out and figured a storm is a good reason to spin some, you know, for when the power goes out.
I'll drop updates whenever I see what's up. I know the national news isn't exactly correct. (Their coverage of Katrina made me want to vomit. I was on the beach then and they didn't show half of it.)
I don't think there's many of us down on the coast, but I just want everyone to take care. There's not much left here to stop the storm this time! The last one took care of all that.

Yeah, I just saw something about this today in the news (LOL...like five minutes ago). I really hope you guys are okay and that the hurricane doesn't negatively affect you! I think it's pretty safe to say that the effects of global warming are clearly apparent through the increased frequency/severity of storms everywhere.

yeah, India just lost several thousand people, China is groing through hell, I got news from the philippines that one tough one blew out an entire village. People are dieing damnit! Anyways, everyone on the coast, stay safe and goodluck, if something goes wrong let us know, someone from the family will be there in a heartbeat. Plus, I'm sure several of us here can help financially if need be. I moved to the beaches just in time for Fay, and let me tell you... That wasn't even a hurricane and my house was over filling. Plus my lake went up so high, my fence was submerged. I know how hard it is to live through a hurricane, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!
