in ten years in the scene off and on, I have rolled exactly once. and that was this year. try it sober - it's amazing.

Yeah, fuck drugs. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's okay to responsibly part-take from time to time, but IMO, you should go to raves sober WAY more than you indulge in substances. Drugs change the perception of what raves REALLY are. They're amazing already, you don't need anything to make it better. I've been going to raves sober for several years (and most raves I've ever been to....sober). I love them still....great music, awesome people, glowsticks, lasers....what more could you ask for?!?!

I've me so many people who claim that they don't need the drugs to have a good time....but how often do they go to parties sober.....NEVER...Something tells me that they go to parties for the drugs more than the environment.

Brotha its all about fun. Been at it for 7 years never once have i touched a single drug. I do Glowstringing and "raving" for an elegant and unique way to express myself

I've been to parties sober and rolling ballz. Personally I prefer to roll, but it's by no means necessary for me to have a good time.

As I've told people before.... If you have to be f'ed up to have a good time, then maybe the rave scene is not for you.

yea i like to roll but i have gone to some raves sober and i have to say it was very fun i dont do often but when i do it's 10 times better for me

The rave scene was built around the drugs. I dont roll at every rave, but I like having the option to without being judged. I love the straight edge ravers, but I think they are trying to change the rave scene too much. PLUR

dito speedy. i cant say ive been to a rave completely sober.. but i have gone and waited a couple hours before inducing.

my friends like to throw down alot, and sometimes id go over there and just do poi for everyone. after spinnin for bout 30 minutes i get a complete natural euphoric feeling. and that i can say is very AWESOME
