It's way too expensive for me. not to mention they moved it from last year so now it's before my sixteenth birthday. I wouldn't pay that much with a chance of not getting in anyway.

it isnt all that bad. what was truly ridiculous was global. im sorry but i have to shit on global. it was ridiculously expensive and they held it at bitch ass red rock that wasnt level and everyone had to leave by 2 am. wtf is that?! glad i didnt go or i wouldnt have had any money to get me ecstatic about being there. i dont like seeing real young ones at raves anyway. caffeine wasnt all that great and i got annoyed with seeing 12 and 13 year olds there. thats what draws even more police. these arent family events

ya, for sure. i was at global, but i didnt go in. we had a party in the parking lot. i tried sneaking in a few times, not to get in but just to see if i could.

I disagree. Why aren't these family events? If you like electronic dance music and theres an all ages rave why not go? I thought global was amazing, it's been at red rocks for years and I think it's a great venue. The way the sunset looks while raving, the stage tv room in the visitor center, everything about it has been great for several years. Of course it's expensive, do you look at the dj's they book? And redrocks has a curfew, last i check its an additional large sum of money every hour an event lasts past ten o clock. If they kept it going past 2am the price would go up like mad.
I don't mean to sound like a dick, but look at it from the producers standpoint, it costs a lot of money to make a rave happen, and one with some of the worlds top DJ's? tiesto costs roughly 85,000 to bring to an event.

idk, i agree with you too, but i just think that the way most people have turned the events into isnt an atmosphere for the younger generations

precisely. i personally think the youngins draw extra heat to shows. maybe give them a childs play section lol. i didnt go to global because of the outrageous price and red rocks isnt flat at all theres barely any room to move. i did see primus at red rocks and that was intense though. i always thought of red rocks as more the venue for classical music or even jam bands. anything that gets the audience to move isnt for red rocks. That and having to leave to find an after party that would have some of the same DJ's and most likely end up far better than the original show was. it did have a good lineup but then again lets get back to skylab which also seems to have a good lineup. im sure im going

I flyer for the Triads so I am getting in for free. Its going to be a fun party. Last year it was good at arapahoe county fairgrounds. I hope they throw it there again because that is right down the street from me.

Oh and thizz. Global has always ended that early. Its a mainstream venue and the Red Rocks is a fucken amazing venue at that. Last year I was really fucked up and Tiesto was playing and it started raining and I felt it on my skin with the bass. It was fucken epic. Get used to seeing youngins at Triad and Floorbangr massives its just how they are. And so what if they draw heat. Its a fucken massive with a insured venue. Unless its in a warehouse and illegal there is no way the police can shut it down. If your worried about undercovers which there are some. Just be careful on who you talk to. I can always tell a straight face from someone who has bugged out eyes and is all sweaty. I started raving when I was 15 so its not that bad. If you dont like go find more underground partys which are there you just have to find them. I myself was handing out Afterparty flyers. There was a hardcore after party called Eternia. You just have to look around ya know.
