I know its past Valentines Day... but seriously, some of you guys are fucking stupid.

So Valentines came and went... no card, no nothing, just a phone call. Im not materialistic but I am a girl and its Valentines Day... with the one I intend on marrying... and its like it didnt even matter. So my boyfriend and I fight today, and he brings up me not seeing him, and I bring up that he didnt even want to hang out today, but suddenly he wants to, and I say tomorrow is better because of work, and suddenly im the bad guy? WTF? So Valentines Day got brought up after he said he would like to see me, and I said it would of been nice to see him on Valentines day but all I heard him do was bitch about how he doesnt like V-Day and that this year it was one of the better ones that he has had, so I kept my mouth shut. But he didnt come over, just said happy valentines day.... thats it.

Im a fucking girl, I like that mushy shit on Valentines day, and kind of wished he had done something for me this year... ya know? And today he said I should have told him. Uh what the hell is that? "Yeah hunny I love you, and I expect something on valentines day!" That sounds fucking moronic. If you are in a relationship with someone you intend on marrying... itd be nice to have some kind of recognition on Valentines Day. Seriously.

So he bitched about not seeing me today and I lost it. All my friends gushing about their boyfriends and here is my future husband bitching about hating Valentines day, so I guess I better get used to my friends liking Valentines day but he hating it, so I got to put my feelings aside.

Grrr.

yea, guys r like that.. i know a lot of us r tired of feeling obligated by a day of the week.. altho i'm not much of a holiday person in general.. unless it manages to get me a day off or pay me ot.. anyway i much prefer doing random nice shit.. (not just saying that, i actually do it..) the things i do spontaneously r far cooler than anything i do cuz i feel like i have to.. my 1 cent cuz that's all i could find in the couch..

oh, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with asking 4 what u want.. ie hey i'd like a flower or a card bitch so bring it!! (boys r dumb and we don't pick up on hints so just throw it on the table yea??)

wow I'm a girl and no I'm not bashing on you NewGlow or any girl for that matter. But I agree with what jarblue said why should you need a day to tell someone you love them. What's up with that.
I guess that could be part of the reason I'm single cause guys think girls are all about that mushy shit and I want to be wined and dined but that's not the case I'm a simple girl with simple needs you don't have to give me flowers cause all they do is die and it tends to be a waste of money. Draw me flowers something. And no I'm not one that says it's the thought that counts but then I'm mad because you borrowed your niece and nephews crayons to draw me a card.
But like you said NeoGlow your going to marry this guy and he should know what kind of stuff you like. Or maybe you guys should have sat down before Vday and decided to celebrate on a diff day. This way that didn't have a chance to happen.

Men don't usually like Valentine's day because a lot of women use it as an excuse to get angry if they don't receive anything. I hate Valentine's day and so does my girlfriend so I guess it's easier for me but neither of us use it as an excuse to buy eachother something. If I'm feeling spontaneous, I'll just go buy her something and she'll usually like it. She's the same way.

However, I have dated women in the past who prefer to celebrate Valentine's day to the extreme. I'll put up with it but I really don't like it.

I never knew that many people hated V-Day that much, I personaly dont like it as much either, I never had GF during that time of the year so I cant say I gave flowers,candy or anything. I wouldnt really mind giving my girl a gift on V-day tough.

i hate all holidays equally exccept new years eve i like it. but other than fuck xmas v day forth of july, thanksgiving, halloween can be fun but usally ends up sucking. all the holidays are just way to stressful. except new years eve when everone just wanna get drunk and i can deal with that
