okies, so it is only tuesday but already this is turning out to be an awesome week! my web cam and video cam have arrived at my parents yesterday and my dad's dropping them off this week so i can get some vids up and get skype working!

Then a guy phoned from one of the companies i work with to give me an update on a case then told me he was off out for a cig, and i was like thats not fair! i've stopped smoking today! and then just started talking about music and how i work in a club and he said he was a DJ and then i asked what kinda music and it just escalated from there. So i'm gonna link him to here when he adds me on facebook.

I am so psyched that i just met a random raver over the phone at work! now all i need is to get a night off this weekend to go to the mill, and maybe get my cyberlox and GXG hoodie in the post too.

(and win the lottery but my lucky dip numbers are rubbish!)

Let me tell you from experience..


Employers don't like their employees doing the melbourne shuffle...



At least that's what I got from sonic one of the 3 times I worked there...


They gave us an incentive to work harder by saying we could choose the music played outside/inside, as long as it wasn't explicit...

And I worked really hard one week..

And they let me choose...

And then they all faced siler wrath, cuz for 10-12 hours a day (my shifts), hardcore techno for a week...


Twa ha!


But then I got fired...


Because I'd shuffle when I went back to the freezer to get more patties/fries/chicken/etc.

nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! I'm alowed to listen to what i like on my ipod as long as i answer the phone when it rings. except today i was talking to my new raver friend and let all the other phones ring. i was busy!

and he's adding me to facebook so i'm gonna send him here. and what an awesome random thing to cheer up my day!!

I'm gonna suggest some tunes for our hold music next week!
My suggestions will be Infected Mushroom or Slayer!

Yes! i love meeting random ravers! I actually ran into my old boss at an Infected mushroom show the other day, but thats kind of different


And siler that sucks you got fired for some dancing in the back, most people at my work just laugh at me! But let me tell you nothing is better then when you just sprayed an entire kennel down with soap and you get your shuffle down on the slippery goodness , but my boss thought i was having a seizure or somthing. Guess i need some work on my shuffle hu???

I hear that... I don't know what it is about sonic's, but their floors are really slip naturally because the type of tile they are... You have to have special shoes to not slide, and THOSE still slip like hell (They made us go BUY special shoes to work there)

Then you close up, and you wash the floor (they use to make us soap and hose down the floor) or b4 closing, all the grease and what not...


Yeah... Shuffle heaven... And I can shuffle on a TOTALLY not slick floor, but that... Godly shuffles...


I think that was their excuse for firing me ( Unsafe Workplace Conduct), but I think they really were just mad about having no choice in listening to hardcore techno for 10-12 hours a day 6 days that week...


But in texas, at least in texas, you cannot be fired without a real reason, otherwise you can sue the company... So they used my shuffling for the reason cuz it was 'unsafe conduct that could result in injury to myself and to my co workers'

Ohh, that does sound like quite an amazing week *jealous* xD

I've recently gotten in trouble for dancing around at work. I work at a small vet clinic, so you can imagine. The only time I can shuffle is if I am in the back working on something and no one can see me.

Other than that, customers and my doctor/mentor aren't suppose to see me, either since it is unprofessional.

awww, man. I dance at work and people just laugh. As long as stuff gets done no one cares how I jam out while I do it. Adn thsi week has been all about the trance:-)
