I'm kind of curious how everyone got into the scene, always fun to hear about different experiences

ETD POP was mine - I went with a couple friends and we were at the very front...not a good idea for a first timer I ended up dancing for about 7 hours straight (we were one of the first in, and never left the front), and was fucking TIRED. We'd told our parents we were sleeping over at someone else's house, so we had to spend the night in San Francisco; as I was walking home the next morning my mom called me, worked out perfectly.

My first rave was 9 years ago at this small underground warehouse rave in Charlotte called 618. Just some local dj's spinning till 7:00am. I think DJ Fuzz was spinning that night. Nothin beats a good ol' fashion warehouse rave!!

My first rave was Glo 3 in Denver, CO in Jan. of 2008. It was a totally spare of the moment thing. Me and my buddy had heard how sick raves were and we always wanted to go to one so we decided one night really late to cruise to Denver and go to a rave for the first time. It was a sick rave at a good warehouse venue. Overall it was an awesome experience and since then me and my buddy have been going strong in the rave scene.....

I think it was called Summer Daze '97 at the infamous MasterDome in San Bernadino, CA.

The place was a pit, but the music was kick ass!

I don't remember my first rave either, but there are a few that will always stand out to me as being truly stellar experiences.

1) The little underground rave I went to in London in January 2001 - just a bunch of random local guys spinning their asses off and having a great time. Awesome.

2) MEMF. Always...not for the party itself, cause really..well...that was a bit of a bust, but for the people and the way that weekend changed my life.

3) Mixtape II in Chicago...again, not so much for the party itself, but for the fact that it was my first rave in years, and I went alone in the dead of winter and got lost in chicago and had an amazing time remembering why I do this in the first place. I came home that night, and the couple of hours I had there got me through the next six weeks (which were arguably the worst six weeks of my life).

damn my 1st rave hmmmmmmm i cant really remember it since it was almost 7 years ago but i remember my 1st massive, it was Starscape in '03 that shit was insane had an awsome time and the ppl were so incredibly nice.

First Rave was Friday night at Greensboro... IT WAS AWESOME!!!! Also managed to get lost going back to the hotel, cuz we took a cab to get there, and got a ride back from a friend we made at the rave... took us nearly 2 hours to drive what shouldve been a 15 minute drive. Simply Perfect start! :P

WHAT?! Crazy... I just started myself, EDC 2008... Only been to 4 total, but I'm in love <3 I'll never quit... But I've been stringing for over a year.......
