"GXG Dance Krew"?

i agree with loc!c. i had a girl come up to me at get freaky and ask if i wanted to join her glowstringing crew. they wanted another girl. i declined. its not about crews or groups. that kinda takes the "unity" of plur away if we start segregating ourselves like that. the aformentioned crew's myspace page said they were the "best" stringers around. she was a cool nice girl, really good at the art. but i thought the whole thing was pretty silly. im not bashing her or her friends, i liked her alot, i just thought it was kinda dumb to claim to be the best around, cus that just makes other people feel stupid.

well i have a crew... but its more of a group of friends ... we dont haze or shit like that its just a group formed by me and my closest friend ... much like that of GxG 3 of us are members in fact im sure you know them erik aka kasumi kyle aka neonpirate and my self lol

exactley ... me and my "crew" dont gloat nor do we give any one any reason to look down upon us its just close friends hanking out and theres really no purpose to what we do so its not like a gang nor do we specialize like " the best stringers int the world" lol

yeah, thats fine by me. i just dont like when people claim to be the best. because then they are seperating themselves from everyone else as "better."

im sorry but i like the idea of a crew it lets us at least put a name for gxg having awsome spinners.. not the best but just good spinners letting people know that we were able to unite a crew. i understand that its not about being the best. I dont like leaders so i think the crew should be ran by admin.. its open to ideas but i really think it would be cool if some of our more experinced stringers would make some videos complile them all together and call it the gxg crew...

but wouldnt that make some gxgers feel left out if theyre not part of this crew? or do u mean all of us would be the crew..... i dunno. im beating this to death i dont really care that much. its not a bad idea. i just dont like the idea of crews. sorry im not trying to be an asshole. i just wouldnt think id wanna participate

Alright, I don't totally understand the whole "crew" thing... I think things are fine just how they are. We have different forum options for that kind of stuff. plus I'm pretty sure that after awhile one "crew" will want to "battle" another crew, and eventually things might get out of hand and our whole PLUR thing -- especially the Unity part -- will be thrown out.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I think it's great that ideas like this are being thrown out there for discussion. My only worry is that some members might be left out of a certain crew and not take it too well and leave the site or what not. But, then again I could be wrong... lastly... just so to make sure... can someone explain exactly what a "crew" would consist of?
