soo i have been into the hip-hop rap scene for awhile
i know how to dance pretty well to hip-hop/rap/R&B all that
well i was wondering if there is anyway i can use any of that at a rave.

any ideas?

If you can breakdance then that's good because breakdancing looks good to almost any music... except opera.

well i started to learn breakdancing then i got caught up in stringing
and started wokin on that.
but if i were to completely learn breakdancing then i can use it at raves and such?

You could, but then in the rave-scene, thatd be more like a "melbourne shuffle" look it up on www.youtube.com and you'll see what i mean.

Well, basically, you can use any dance style at a rave...it's all about feeling the beat really...not how you dance. No one will typically call you out on how you dance at a rave, but you should just learn to feel the beat and accentuate it...whether that means jumping around, flailing your arms liquid style or just fucking around...it's all good...just as long as you are going with the beat and enjoying yourself!

i saw some chicks hip hop booty dancing at the dj icey show not really a rave but rave music so yeah just do what ever feel good to u. even if it outta rythm who needs rythm when the music is in ur soul ur body will take care of all the rest just go with the flow

actually more often than not, ive noticed, at most of the parties that were at EDEN (rip) and scorpios, eventually a circle would break out and a few/bunch of people would be breakdancing. which is awesome, i love watching people do stuff that i cant. and since most of the clubs end up being defined as a dance club, b-boys are gladly accepted, if not looked up to.
