Question How do you make glowchucks? - 07-07-07, 12:07 AM

Your glowchucking video rocks! But how do you put one of these things together? My first guess is a key ring, but I am not sure you would have all that great maneuverability...

Please clue me in! Maybe make a video?

I second this motion... I was in a self defense academy that allowed you to practice with a few weapons (soft ones of course) and I did nunchucks... I wasn't the best, and it's been a long time, but I think I could still rock some glow chucks...

my friend sucks at glowstringing but he was in the junior Olympics and brought home gold with nunchucks so ive been trying to tie them for him we just used strings but keyrings sounds like a pretty good idea

My first set was just a shoe lace I kept cutting down until I found a length I liked. The length I use right now it good for me but its shortness keeps me from doing a certain movement I wanted. Its where you have both chucks in one hand and you swing it over your shoulder and catch it underneath, and then swing it over the opposite shoulder and repeat.

I decided to try using key chain rings ( a variation of sizes to get the perfect length) to see how that would affect it. The movement is a little crisper, unlike the more fluid feel of the laces. Its a bit harder to spin the rings compared to the laces, but easier to control movement.

Right now I'm taking my center ring out and using a looped rubber band! While hanging its about a 1/2in. While swinging is a little longer. The harder the swing the better the stretch.

Separate raves from the "drug scene." There's no such thing as an 'anti-rave act' just anti-drug acts and stereotypes drugs have brought to the rave scene.
