How often do you have a problem with going somewhere with the intentions of dancing at a party and instead you get something no where near as good? I know where I live people go out into the woods with beer and a bon fire and call that a party. sucks

Haha yea, house parties have that effect. Big city clubs is where its at! However, if you can get a dance going on at a house party, it is much crazier than any club!

yup. my hometown also has the "hey lets have a dance/party thats in the middle of the woods, and lets have a fire and a keg!!! dont forget to bring wood to the party!!!" but it also got a little techno club. it sucks too. velocity its called. bar by day, club at night. <---suck my balls.

Is Baton Rouge a small town? I am unfamiliar with the area, but I have heard of it...

i nono, I HATE going to a party and sitting there and talking... a "kick back" i want to dance and party hard. im scared because at UCSB i hear stories of streets down on the beach that party... not houses... im talking about streets.

As far as rave-style techno parties go...i like a good 3 day in the middle of nowhere. House parties are also lots of fun provided there's space to glowstick and dance without interference. I also like clubs, but it's a different atmosphere.

Bars, on the other hand (without techno), suck ass. They have no decor, the music is lame, the people are too drunk to dance usually or just prefer to dry-hump each other in a debaucherous scene....just kinda lame and sickening. I don't understand why so many young Americans LOVE the bar scene....IT SUCKS!

However, as far as random parties go without techno, I do love a good random field kegger....good people and booze = good times!!

bars suck. go to raves. go to massives. or stay at home and practice. or get baked and write a novel. (my buddy got a sci fi short story pubished in a college journal a couple weeks ago)
