I was watching Tometheravers jumpstyle video and decided to try to learn it and I love it! It is the most energetic and fun dance I have ever done! I am struggling a bit on finding the music though, I use limewire and it is a piece of shit for finding underground or non-popular music so if anyone knows of a different source to find music please tell me and some arist/song titles would be extremely helpful also!
well like you i became very interested on the first video lol i still suck but i have a whole site with the guy who started it and he gives free music torrents
Haha it's very... European and Australian. I swear, if someone did that in North America, people would laugh I, personally, love it Haha works well with hardstyle music.
yea dude me and a goth kid are starting it here and everyone is like wtf hes having a seizure then im like ur a fool and then i try hardstyle and im like okay that may have been a seizure lmao
Yeah, torrenting is a grand way to find all the music you need. isohunt.com and thepiratebay.com are very good for that. If you are trying to locate really under the radar stuff try Soulseek, I've been able to find just about everything with it. I demand you post a vid of your skillz when you get good!
Cheers!

Thank you, and as to renegade I will for sure The jumpstyle I have the basic concept down I can do the half twist and the ankle grab thing not sure on the name haha but the full twist I struggle with a bit. As for hardstyle, i'm still trying to understand how people float...It's like gravity doesn't exist for them haha. I don't know anyone around me that dances so I can only learn from videos so it will take a while

I've never heard the term jumpstyle until today, but now that I've checked out the vids on youtube, I realized that I've seen kids dancing like this for quite a while (some off the chain and some, well, let's say not so fantastic). I can tell that you've gotta have your moves tight or you lose the dramatic impact. I saw a kid jumpstyle at a starscape afterparty and the DJ was playing straight, hard techno for 4 hours and it worked. I personally like mixing the intensity of jumpstyle with the more fluid liquid forms. But when I started dancing 6 years ago, no one would tell me shit, so my best advice is to let the music direct your body how to move, mirrors help, and tweak your dancing as it comes to you.
