ok both of you really need to watch the youtube tutorials i posted the link on the first page of this thread, go to the that guys page,,, and watch every video... he has a lot, i mean over 1000..... and you will see and listen as he explains the technical stuff...

headphones dont have to be loud in fact you will go deaf if you are too loud, turn the monitors down...
i use one monitor, and one ear on the headphones.

on the forst link,,, he has a search tab, and type whatever,, say you want to know about djm800,,, or hte cdj400 or denons cdjs, or anything there are over 1000 videos. this guy is great.
this sums it up nicely.....
and practice a lot and with it not so loud
