I spin vinyl (and mp3, but thats manipulated with the vinyl), though I'm looking at some CDJ-1000's for the near future. I mainly spin psytrance and various breakbeat, I'm starting to get a lot more into electro, so if you have any track recommendations that'd be great. As for where I get music from... in mp3/wav - beatport, for vinyl - dancerecords.com

I get records online, from producers, and local shops.

I also play nu-rave/breaks/psybreaks.
Psybreaks sets are played mainly with CDJ's because that genre doesn't get many releases out on vinyl. Other than that, I'm almost a vinyl purist.

I spin just about a little bit of everything. Old school jump up, Intelligent & jazzy dnb, deep and duppy house, bangin detroit and European techno, trip-hop, downtemp/lounge, abstract and minimal techno

I don't buy much vynl these days anymore, too expensive. Anytime i visited a city I'd get records.. didn't matter how big or small. If the party was in a nother city I usually would hit up a record store the morning after the party before heading back home. Used to get records from PlanetX and groovetech but they're both out of business now, also used to get harder to find records at www.Gemm.com. I got a lof of records from people deciding to stop dj'ing. These days when I do buy vynyl I pretty much stick with a couple labels/artists, I sign up on their email list for updates when they release new tracks

digital now, cdj's (vinyl for past nine years)
drum n' bass/jungle
and im not telling you where i get my stuff, its a secret.

main reason i switched to digital is because i have a lot of priceless (to me) vinyl that i dont want to take out to clubs to spin and possibly get ruined lost or stolen, and i wanted to play my own tracks in clubs without having to pay 100's of dollars to get them pressed on wax.

Hell yeah! It is so much easier now-a-days to drop your own music into the mix. Now if I could only remember to record half the stuff I do when I improvise. I might have a full album of original material.

When I play out its either all vinyl or all digital. I still pick up 'must have' vinyls and have been purchasing digital copies of my favorite wax.
