i dont ever bring purchased release cd's to a club anymore, if i buy a cd i burn a copy and take the copy out to spin at clubs. i learned that lesson quick. plus if you backup all your shit on your comp, you can't "lose cd's" again, anyway.

i still have all of it on the computer, but i need to go pick all my shit up from the club, but i have it all on serato now.....so im not too worried about it, but having my cd's is a good way to study my music when i dont feel like mixing....ya know what i mean????

well i mean i had one spool that i kept all my stuff stuff on, and i jekpt tha spool with me for the most part wherever i went, because i actually listen to the cd's in the car and stuff, and the amount just kinda dwindled over time. NOW all my shit is on a flash drive that is on my car keys. so i dont have to worry about this anymore.

I agree for the most part. I mostly try to stay away from groups of people that are not my captive friends. And deny any offers to play out at clubs cuz I know I'm not ready. Every once in a while I'll break down and try to play at house parties with strangers but thats usually after hours and hours of sitting around and getting a wild itch. Sadly that doesn't ever lend itself to my most accomplished playing. But I truly do not care to lead great impressions and procure great bookings.

I don't mind people knowing I'm a noob. I find it lends itself to greater shock when I don't epic fail
