I just ordered 2 technics 1210's! YAY!!!!!!.... to bad i cant do anything withough a mixer..... speaking of wich any word on the numark 5000sx? thats what im planning on getting..... also what needles/carts should i get?

They are MK2's the MK5's were 2 pricey even these came out to almost 900

That newmark mixer is bad ass if you want effects, and smooth fader! Needles are all up to you my man.....I use ortophones..or stanton scratch masters when i scratch...at bigger shows.

i like the ortophone i got nad have had them for two years now. the replacment needles are resonable, and i just love the way they sound and feel. i scratch with them as well.

and for mixers,,,, well i guess your budget is what will limit you again, but, remember, faders wear, and plastic parts break. so if you know this is an investment, not a toy, id go with pioneer, rane, vestex, or mackie...

i stay away from plastic knobs that have a lil wobble or play, and cheap feeling faders....

i know hte berhinger is a cheaper mixer, and the sound is bad compared to a djm 800 but thats a 1500$ mixer. adn for 200$ i like it. the faders are tight, and the knobs dont feel like they will fall off if i get a little rough with it.

after buying a $200.00 mixer i still ahve money left over for a lot of records!!!

then buy a djm 800.... lol after a few months.

my mixer fell down some stairs and works fine! also got alot of condensation after an overnight party in tx.... works fine.

personally that numark mixer feels cheaper to me that the djx700. but its only an opinion.

UGGGG dude i cant swing another grand, i still need software! my budget is 800 bucks for mixer and software. I've been trying 2 stay away from behringer, people have told me " AVOID THAT NAME AT AlL CoSTS!!!!" so that scared me a bit. like i said i dont wana get a mixer that i will need 2 replace in a few months. i'd like somthing that will last a wile.... basicaly i want a cheep high quality mixer that will last for ever.... i'd also like a unicorn and a magic carpet......
