Well i get most of my music from Limewire. I dont know about high quality but hey it works. And i wouldnt really call it trustworthy.

www.thepiratebay.org and www.isohunt.com are very good. they're torrent sites, so u need to download the software first at www.utorrent.com . i like www.morpheus.com too, its not a torrent site.

You can download WAV format from beatport but it will cost you an extra dollar per track. 320 MP3 is pretty much standard these days but if you REALLY want the highest quality download WAV's.

WAV's do sound a little better but take up 8 or 9 times the hard disk space. Most everyone plays MP3's and only true audiophiles can tell the difference between the 2 formats.

You can try these sites also but beatport has the biggest selection and is the easiest to navigate.

if you are going for torrent sites, check out Torrents.to .... that site allows you to type in whatever it is your looking for then allows you to search several dozen torrent sites with just a click.

i also use a firefox plugin that allows me to download streaming content from imeem, last fm, soundclick, etc.
the plugin is called "download helper"
