Okay. I know some of you DJs are going to be like ewww Geminis they suck. Keep in mind this is my first set up. That mixer is shit and I have a Vestax Blue Chrome PVC-175 on the way. I also bought a $20 broken Pioneer CDJ700s and I know someone that will repair like anything in your DJ equip for $100.

Here is my first set-up though.

Anyways Im real exicited for my first spin.. All i need is a cheap reciever and reinstallation of vista.

I bought it off of ebay for $100 so hell yeah its a good start. I dont have any speakers yet but I am sure I can find some lying around the house. I dont have head phones yet either. I was all ready thinking about buying another set up depending on how much it goes up. Its just like the one I just bought but only its silver.

Other then that I am super exicited to spin. I use my friends CDJs sometimes but I am glad I have a pair of my own now and can practice all night and day for a week straight I have musical background too so it wont be that hard to pick up.

^^^ headphones i jsut bought, cause i break even 200$ ones... these are 25 bucks

and i just got a set of these...

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1215216375464

the highs sound louder than the lows... i think this is cause there are two amps... one 30 watt for the high end nad a 40 watt for the low. they shoulda had a 50 watt for the low or a 20 watt for the high... but they are a great value.

id also recomend the rockit 5's from guitar center... for a stater set of quality monitors... under 300 bucks new....

http://www.guitarcenter.com/KRK-Roki...10-i1403132.gc

though they have a generation 2 now.... i like the generation 1's the cabinets are more compact, and square.

I feel you on that. My tables are loaned, but my sound, mixer, vinyl and headphones aren't. nothing like learning on your own schedule! Hell plug the mixer into a normal 3 pc boom box if you have to; I have mine plugged into my LG home surround right now; there is a half second delay from the headphones and the speakers.... But I just mix in the headphones it doesn't bother me. ALSO it gives me the choice of having 3 speakers and sub in the room I'm spinning in, one speaker in another room, and one speaker outside!!!

Im using numark direct drive tables as a startup and a cdj 100 that has a broken wheel. I took a trim knob off my mixer and put it on my cdj to get a better hold on the little bastard, so I don't want to hear you bitchin bout your setup

Hell Im not complainin! But I do wish I could get some technics soon

I am on a tight budget.

I am not complaining. All my friends here is I wanna spin fire or I wanna spin. I will start spinning vinyl as soon as I can afford it lol. I want to spin Hardstyle and other Hardcore genres and you have to orders those from over seas. Euros are fucking expensive man.
