If anyone has any information on djing and every aspect of it or can give me useful websites or other forums that would be a great help.
Iv decided i want to learn how to dj and make crowds go crazy at the sound of my music. I wanna learn to mix and produce. where to start. what necessary and what equipment is needed.

wow thats a broad question! Ill say first of all what seems to be the standard response to someone wanting to get into djing. It's expensive. make sure its realy what you want to be doing befor you buy equipment. get on a friends decks and give try it for a while. i will also say that it IS a blast! as far as learning the craft http://www.youtube.com/user/ellaskins that guy, will be a tremendous help to you. whenever possible, watch dj's mix. See what they do, learn what separated a good dj from a bad one. Every time you meet a dj, pick there brain! try to learn! if you ask a more specific question ill try an answer as best i can.

Try pirating a copy of Fruity Loops...

If you don't like that, you won't like djing.

I have to STRONGLY DISAGREE Fruity Loops has absolutely nothing to do with DJ'ing. It is a program for wirting, composing and producing tracks. A "noob" would have no clue how to operate such a program and could easily get frustrated and give up. I have been playing records for over a decade and HATE fruity loops. There are several other surperior programs out there to choose from.

I would recommend Abelton Live. It comes with a very easy to understand, step by step tutorial of how to use the program. You can DJ or produce with Abelton, it is extremely straight forward and the industry standard for live DAW mixing and a very powerful production platform. You can begin mixing tracks without learning how to beat match helping a noob understand the basics of mixing AND have a DAW for production.....

I just dont understand how you can say "If you dont like Friuty Loops, you wont like DJ'ing"
just my 2 cents

I know fruity loops has nothing to do with dj'ing really, but if you don't have the patience to do that, you probably won't have the patience to learn to dj well..

As for noobness, when I downloaded it, I learned all the functions within 2 hours... So it's a matter of attention span...

As for the other programs, there are many better progs, but fruity loops isn't as complicated to learn as the other ones.

Simple analogy:

Fruity loops is to 85 Yugo as Ableton Live is to Saleen S7.
