yo i just caught wind of this new thing called a "Pacemaker" i dont know if its crap or what, but it seems cool, and a great way to start getting you feet wet with djing. i cant imagine a pro using it though. Basically its your whole dj set up (including 120 gigs of storage) in this pocket size thing. You can beat match, loop, add effects, reverse, EQ... basically do all the foundations of djing ( as far as i know).it seems pretty awesome, i'd love to get my hands on one, ive been producing for years but never did the whole dj thing, because every time get some $$ i spend it on my studio haha. let me know what you guys think! BTW you control all the eqs FX BPM and volume (not the cross fade though) with a touch screen/ ANYWAY check it out and tell me if its worth the change as a startup kit. You cant do any kind of scratching of course (do they even have virtual turn table set ups where you use a touch screen to scratch? that could be cool....) but thats an art for of its own, so i wasnt even planning on getting into that..... Thanks guys, PEACE!

OH, new update (and this is awesome) aparently, it will record your mixes right onto the internal hardrive! now thats convenient! to have a live recording of your mix that is no more hassle than pressing a button? cool.
this thing looks sweet, but yea, pricey.. and well beyond my experience so probly not gonna follow it much 4 now.. would sure love 2 play w/ 1 4 a minute tho.. that'd b sweet.. i'm sure it's only gonna improve along the way tho so maybe by the time i'm ready it'll b cheaper/better.. who knows..
