hahaha. just for the record, i aint sayin u shouldnt use serato. its a great idea, everybody has their own tools. i would dance to someone pissing on a cardboard box if it sounded good. but everybody should have to "intern" on vinyl for like 6 months before moving on to other stuff, because everything else (cd's, laptop) was built from how vinyl works. i barely use vinyl anymore but i'll still rock the house down with vinyl or cd's or whatever. as long as i can change songs and have the next one cued up in less than 10 seconds, i can still dj like i want to. that was a hard switch to cd's for me because i can switch records and be mixing in like 7 or 8 seconds on vinyl, and the way i mix i have to be able to switch up FAST.
