Numarks arent bad but personally i shy away from anything they make as far as turntables or cdj's go I'm not sure what yer looking to get into but if you want to do any scratching at all i wouldnt get these, Also another thing you want to be careful of is pitch accuracy, a cheap turntable like this probably doesn't have very good accuracy and so mixing will be harder but doable. Also the tonearm probably isn't great as well as the torque. Id suggest Stanton T.80's thats what i learned on.. the pitch control is pretty accurate and you can scratch on em. hope that helped a bit

Oops almost forgot, as far as that mixer goes eh, i use a numark mixer and im quiet happy with it altho its not the same one, itll certainly get you started and the usb will make it easier to record your mixes and hear yourself, very important. On a cheaper mixer your going to get some fuzz in the background however as well as the curves on the faders arent going to be very good, But itll get ya started.
Do keep in mind however that you can DJ on cheaper equipment But to learn on it might be very frustrating
