practice will be the only thing that will help you here man.
aside from mixing, and structure, beatmatching is essential. what kind of music are you mixing with to learn beatmatching?
i started with drum and bass, which can be a bit harder to start off with, just caues there is a lot more going on that say house or progressive house nad progressive trance. id start with house, or progressive.
do you have two of the same vinyls? that can also get you on your way.
all i can say, is when you have to get a solid beat going. riding hte mix with progressive genres isnt that hard, it just takes practice.
make small adjustments, when you have a general match with the beats, and keep you hande on the pitch control, so you can adjust smoothly, rather than using the post, or platter to slow it down or speed it up.
