Ablist one / ablist1:
1. rob swift album called "the ablist". pronounced able-ist, as in able to mix any style on any format. gimme 3 minutes on any equipment with any mixable records and ill tear it up.
2. second half of the word "turntABLIST". i started out just being a scratch dj and ended up quitting the scratch game to concentrate on mixing techniques, like fast-mixing, double copies, 3 or 4 decks at once, teases, studio tricks, long studio mixes, etc. someone told me dnb was the hardest to spin (they werent lying!), so i started spinning that and now im 9 years deep and still love it!

I come from a family rooted in auto racing. I started out on BMX when I was five and then organized radio controlled car racing followed soon after. I've since raced everything from a pro touring go kart series to Saturday night street stocks. Anyway, my dad used to always paint Flyin Brian somewhere on my car/ bike/ kart and it kinda stuck. Considering I spin mostly hardcore at around 175/180 bpm it seemed fitting to use it as a DJ name.
My alias, Smilzperhour, came from an amusement park comercial that advertsed more "Smiles Per Hour" and I thought it was clever. I used that name when I was only spinning the cheesiest happy hardcore. Although I still play happy hardcore my style has slowly been getting a little darker over the last few years so I decided to use a different name.

I've had a few names. -
03-24-08, 02:03 AM
I started off with Meatball cause when I was little I was fat with problem child red hair. Then Pimp P because a local promoter threw a party "Who say's pimin ain't easy and I came out with a mix cd called "Who said pimpin ain't easy." by far the best recorded mix I ever made. Then it was the Partiologist. My mom asked me when I was attending NC State what I was studying. I told her I was there to party. So I guess I was studying Partiology. Hints that's where the name Partiology came from. Out of that I became the Partiologist but friends from FLA were giving my shit because it had too many silliables. Then I got out of DJing and became a reporter for a Charlotte news station. I was trying to change the world but all I did was change myself. So I redeveloped myself, relocated, and started over. So I set out to prove to myself and that's where Prueph came into play. It is proof that you can do what ever you set your mind to. It was Proof and my Hindu friend told me if I changed the spelling to Prueph it would mean enterlight in hindi. So that's where we are today. Tomorrow who knows, DJ old Fart?
"It's parti with an I, cause I like to party."

Shaidaa is the name of my origional character I created when I was 12. I eventually picked up on the nickname. It's a male Arabic name meaning "Lover" (Which I am). Wrath on the other hand I picked up from my first Anime convention that I attended because I look and act simular to "Wrath" from Fullmetal Alchemist. People like to change between calling me Wrath and Shaidaa.
So I herd u liek
