I believe the title DJ must be earned, especially now-a-days. Cats just go to Sam Ash, spend some money and call themselves DJs. I refuse to add DJ to my name because I want to be recognized by the greats themselves as a DJ. (However, for press and for the layman I have to put DJ in there. The phrase audio video analogous manipulator is just too long and people do not have very good vocabularies today.) So I go by the name that was given to me during a battle. Sonar. I used to scratch an old WWII U-boat sound when I entered my sets.

i still use my dirt style
and got some video game samples on vinyl... for scratching. but im still lame... plus i have a bad mixer for scratching.... well ok its a bad mixer period. but its all i can do for now. yeah djx700.... the best 200$ i spent. i still havent broken it.... two years strong now.

Back in like 1995 I used to go on AOL chat rooms and terrorise the people in there by doing what is called "scrolling". Like if you post some ASCII art it'll take up like 20 lines, which interrupts peoples' conversations. Or I would just fuck with the room by hitting period and enter a bunch of times really fast, so nobody could chat with each other. So people would always say "Get out, scroller!!" and I got booted from all AOL chat rooms.

Add some Gen X flava by switching a C with a K and you've got Skroller.

Mine is really simple, my boy D-Rock once told me that is was murdering the decks so the name murdex just kinda evolved and stuck.

Assassins mine hummm wonder where i got it!

my only nick name was MX but i didn't think that would sound cool...

my production company is under ground assassins and i started it so i'm the assassin.

plus waldo was over at our Alkaida Cave Chilling with DJ Osama and he said the assassin was trying to mount him so there you have it blame waldo i always do!
