Presenting the 2008 Bristol heat of the DMC Championships with some extra special guests in an exciting new city centre venue.

This is the Bristol heat of the ultimate prize for a DJ, the title of WORLD DMC CHAMPION. The most skilful DJs from around the region will battle off with the hope of winning a place at the UK final in London in July and then the world final in September. We have some massive names on the night entertaining: The current world champion from Germany: DJ Rafik, Living turntable legend Cutmaster Swift. One of a fair few ex champs from Bristol, DJ Matman, and the rather large cherry on top, Bristols very own Roni Size & MC Dynamite. The rest of the lineup is equally worthy and its only £6 for advance tickets.. get it while its hot!

Walkabout is a really nice venue with an 1100 capacity perfect for an event of this size, the downstairs bar holds 500 people, the upstairs club holds 600. As well as the wide multi-level dancefloor areas there are luxurious chill out rooms with leather sofa's and plush decor to chill in.
