it's really not all that different from glowsticks...just slower speed, and some of the stuff you don't want to do with flaming stuff. I started with sock poi that I made from tube socks and rice...maybe start there and see how you feel about it.

I think i might.... sometimes i really do find myself doing my stringing moves as slow as their weight will let me, i dont know why... maybe because when you go slower you have to be alot more precise, cuz i do know that as you go faster, more of the work is done by the momentum

mmm, I like rice cause I don't think it hurts as much. Some people use tennis balls, or if you're completely crazy like spinnabledreams you can use billiard balls. Rice is a lot heavier for the volume than a tennis ball, though.
can I mention the irony of the fact that this thread is posted in the freehanding discussion?:-)
