What do you guys think about cutting off the plastic at the bulb end of the inova so the bulb sticks out a bit.
Have any of you tried it?
All you need to do is open it up, take out the bulb/black part and cut off the plastic tips.
I mostly wanna do this because I use gloves and i dont like how a lot of the light is trapped inside of the inova shell.

wont make a noticeable difference. the case only catches some of the light, depending on the viewing angle. i thought about it, but doesnt seem worth it.

Ya but especially when the case is translucent (like mine) it makes the actual inova case visible through the glove.
i like how on photons it sticks out a bit so you only see a point of light.

REALLY?! So it WORKS?!

Hmmmm, I didn't know if it would make a noticable difference through the gloves. I've been thinkin about getting clear cases and swapping the bulb's purposely for that affect Think outside the box bro, use it to your advantage!!! hahaha

ehhh i've messed around with the inovas alot and the only thing i notice when screwin around with the case is that it usually backfires on you and makes it so the light turns off much easier

Yeaa its cool because its more light, but i don't like that its more sloppy looking. It looks awesome when only the tips of your fingers are lit up.

Yeah electron I know what you mean. I've also heard of bulbs flying out during orbits especially the ones with modified bulbs. But this could be fixed if you dab some superglue to the bottom of the bulb before putting it in.

I think it would be really nice. If I find a good way to make a really clean cut then i'll give it a go and take pics
