There's really only a few 'moves' you need to be able to do to freehand well. Basic Traces, Basic Threads and some Basic Tossing skill. Really that all it is. Having said that freehanding well is hard to learn, once you have the basics (fig 8, stomach trace) all you do is dance, and as you think of a new idea or just do it one time (a movement or set of movements you like), stop and do it again until you have it in muscle memory.

You can throw other styles of dance into it, liquid, poping, hardstyle whatever! Talk about patterns you find with other freehanders around here.

Remember its a dance and move with the music. Give it a shot and you'll be surprised where you might end up.

I struggle to come up with good permanant links from movement to movement (unlike my conjouring it just seems to flow when i practice and solidify when I do it). When I get a decent setup I always try and 'out-do' it by replacing parts and then i never get past a few seconds of freehand lol.

Separate raves from the "drug scene." There's no such thing as an 'anti-rave act' just anti-drug acts and stereotypes drugs have brought to the rave scene.

Fer sure i do the same thing. Im reather inconfadent about my traces. I feel maybe that there is someway I can make them better, and not as awkward looking when I do them, but then again maybe that just our views. maybe the actually look really good. lol.
Also I could use some work on my transitions, I feel as if they dont look the way there suppossed to.
I want to put a vid up, but recently freehanding has had to take a backseat to school work But you gotta do what you gotta do. And also I need to go get more sticks.

If you're unsure of how your stuff is looking take a video! You can just use them for your own reference! ^_^ Well lit room and dead sticks and see what you're really doing ^_^
