So like radioshack would sell the leds or something? What kind of specs should i be looking for when buyin leds? Id like to make uv purple ones, where might i get some of those?

Sweet tutorial! I totally didn't think this was even possible....and especially not so simple. Way to be....you guys and your tricky LED shit always amazes me! PS...love the song too! One of my favs.

amd64bit - i just went to radioshack yesterday and picked up 2 pink LED bulbs. what you need to know is basically get the 5mm and make sure the lumen output or w/e is around 2500 mcd. i have no idea what mcd means, thats just what you need ha.

glwinthedrk - !!! i had the exact same experience! ha i went down to fry's and asked them about finding some LED's and they said we dont carry them. and i did some searchin and found that the aisle they were in was like 10 ft from the help desk. the fukers lol. but they only had the basics R G B and white when i was there, no yellow , orange, uv, purple, etc. where are you guys getting those colors from? thanks!

amd- i found it really hard to get uv led's any where so what i did was go to wally world and bought one of those hat lights that has the 5 leds in them, wall mart carries them in green white and "uv purple" their like 9 bucks but you get 5 extreamly bright uv led's, thats the best i could do with uv,

if ne one has a better way of gettin them let us all know, plur
