I'm learning to string, ive been at it for a few months now and i've got a good feel for it i think, ive got quite a few moves in my glowstringing arsenal. but i recently noticed almost all my wraps and variations are based around one hand. Now i'm ambidextrous so ive been able to get a little more with the other hand, but it's a weird feel and difficult. first thing havent been able to do effectively with my left hand.
does anyone have any advice or tips outside the obvious "practice your ass off" to make this bit easier, or at least make it look smoother?
Disclaimer: Everything i say is wrong. I like to argue because I think it's dumb to watch everything you say because you're scared of offending someone who's over-sensitive. I'm very sarcastic, people tend to take offense quickly to random things I say, I have a sense of humor and I apologize for it.
Happy?
hmmm i kinda have this problem 2.... but all i did is "practice my ass off" lol Well the best tip i can say is when ever u get something down with your right hand, make sure you get it down with your left hand befor moving on 2 another move

Shout it out....
practice w/ just ur off-hand.. wrap the shit out of everything w/ just ur off-hand until it feels comfortable.. then add in ur dominant hand but just keep it spinning while u wrap w/ ur off-hand.. then do em both together..
also it may help 2 practice dual wrap moves like double bicep wraps and sun/moon wraps..

it’ll be ok. it’ll be ok.

Well, nope, the only real way is to practice your ass off....in time it will come. I suggest as jareblue stated...work with just that hand. It's like when I played hack a lot. The left foot sucked, so we played a game called 'left foot' where we could only use that leg. Since the 'off hand' doesn't work/flow as well, it requires 2-3 times the practice the regular hand does. Just rock out with that one hand. Then try both hands together. Just keep with it and it will eventually work out. Honestly, I've been doing this for a long time and my left hand still doesn't feel quite as good as my right one, but if you figure out how to do what you want with it, it really doesn't matter.
PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! LOL. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but it's the truth.
