Default Orbits Help - 08-24-08, 05:00 PM

Looking for help on the orbits basics, ive watched tutorials and videos but cant seem to do anymore than basic circles and small circles for a few seconds, Any Tips?

This is my first post so hopefully my video showing what I can do comes up...

first what you need to do is get used to the tension required to keep the orbit going.

spin up the orbit to get the strings wound up, then give a firm pull. release some tension as the orbit finishes spinning then pull again to get it spinning the opposite way. get use to this. it should just spin really fast forwards and reverse. as you just keep pulling and releasing tension in the strings.

to make the star and flower shape, spin your strings instead. either as you are having the strings wind up, or unwind. one way is the flower. the other is the star.
