This is a discussion on 4 Beat Weave tut? within the Glowsticking Discussion forums, part of the Glowsticking discussion category: as most of you know, im new to stringing,
i have just learned how to do the 3beat weave,
is ...
I've always heard the 4 beat called doing a 3bt on one side and a 5 bt on the other. I'm sure there's some way to do one that's not quite like that, but I'd just go to the 5 bt.
Well, I would say refer to the 5 beat weave as Gex said. We probably won't ever have a 4 beat tutorial cause it's basically just principles of the 5 beat (which is covered in the other tutorial). Like Gex said, a 4 beat weaves is basically a 5 beat weave on one side (with the extra wrist twist.....the first hand to cross over will be crossing to ITS OWN SIDE). Once you unwind on the other side, just go back to the original side like a 3 beat weave. That's all there is to it! A 4 beat weave...once you figure out the wrist twist on one side, the other will come soon for a 5 beat weave.
Feel the beat from start to stop, dancin' and groovin' from bottom to top!
