Flowtoys "Talent Contest" at Kosmic 8/16

Hey guys!

I, "Kythos" JD, Southwest GXG Group Leader and Member of Team Flow am going to be setting up my first Flowtoys "Talent Competition" At Kosmic Festival!

I know its still a little late to get the word out but Sean and Prisina from Flowtoys.com sponsored the Grand Prize a set of Flowtoys Ultimate Crystal Poi rigs.

I will be walking around the line with a sign up sheet with an official time and area for all contestants. There will be 3 judges, who will help me decide our winner.

I would like to ask you guys, my fellow GXGers what too look for in a winner,

if we could establish a ranking system...

like 4 areas...

-Difficulty
-Transitions
-Fluidity
-

like 1-10 in each area... do the math... there is our winner...

2 min for each of the 20 "finialists"

a 30 sec qualifying round beforehand...

top 3 get back on "stage" for a 3 min performance...

winner is winner!

Ill be sure to get plently of pics and hopefully make a video or something!

I wish I could go and dance there but I'm still all up in a cast. Sigh

Not really stolen per-se because I guess I couldn't copywright it as it was a mod of another product but yeah I guess the exclusive rabbitlights flowbit isn't so exclusive anymore

I sooooo wish I could participate in this contest. The thought of even stringing right now is making me light-headed though. Ughhh. I hate having a giant laceration that looks like sliced meat on my hand

Talent show??? For just glowstickers??? I'll be honest, I'm not 100% on this idea. It sounds good on paper, but the thought of glowstickers in competition with each other just doesn't sit right with me.

An official group leader is setting it up. By advertising it on our forums aren't we supporting it?

To be clear: this talent show is not advertised on GenXGlow.com (meaning via our advertising channels).
As for the rules, I have no idea what's going on. I will look into it, and thank you for bringing it to our attention.
