Default The GenXGlow Tutorial DvD - 06-28-07, 02:00 PM

The staff of GenXGlow.com has been currenty producing a DVD which will cover as many moves from basic-to-intermediate as we can fit into a 2-to-2 1/2 hour dvd. It be filled with detailed tutorials taught and explained by Alex(thats me!) and also some rave footage, and action scenes.

What I would like to know is, what particular moves would you like to be explained in this dvd? There are hundreds and hundreds of glowstringing moves that grow every day, and I would like to know which are the most troubling moves for you to learn.

Flower Variations, Antispin, Buzzsaw, Butterfly

The works, I know what they are, just need some tips for the antispin portion.

Crossers! Half-wrist wraps.. umm.. and I agree with EK on the buzzsaws and it's variations, anti-spins are always fun.. Oh yeah, and perhaps forward btb weave?

EDIT - OHHHHH YEAH! How could I forget.. btb wall-planes!! Tryin to think of all the intermediate to advanced moves, or beginner advanced moves.. yeah, i'm rambling.. ignore me now!

3+ beat corkscrews and windmills. buzzsaw spirals. and this last one might sound stupid but it might help to give people some pointers on making their own tutorials. you make really good ones and i think alot of people overlook the finer points involved in teaching something beyond just showing the move 12 times and then in slow motion. good luck with the project.

I think some basic stuff for begginers 3 beat weave, butterfly, hip reels shoulder reels! I think most people who buy dvd`s like this are usually begginer to imtermediate so that would help them and then go onto the more advanced stuff! But keep the first stuff simple so mr buyer has fun actually being able to do somthing rather than put them off with somthing too complicated.

I'll leave it to the advanced dudes, cause anything I say will already be there, and well, I don't know anything other than like 6 tricks. Um I second what fl813lunatic said. I really think that that would be a really kick ass part. Like it woul dbe showing how just the tutorials that are posted here and feedback from you guys has helped to develpo sweet stringers. And plus, it gives some of us here some spot light. Now the only problem is who goes in. Well simply, those who have the skills. I think it'd be cool if we had a contest and like top 10 get in or top 5 or 3. Haha, one of those special numbers. Point being I think it would be motivating to the rest of us, and good for everyone. Something to consider.
