Well, most people don't really look at it that way. Being good at glowsticking is usually driven by a personal aspiration/goal, not to be better than anyone else. We do it because we like doing it and excel cause we practice what we love....not to prove our superiority to others. In the end, who really cares who's the best....just get out there and have a good time!

I have to agree with what LilRaverBoi said but I'm sure we've all got our own fav. Not to mention they each have their own style too.

out of what I have seen and done, i find stringing is more noticeable (due to the distance the glowstick is away from you) and follows a certain beat, but freehanding has more freedom for moves and creativity.

all in all, they are different, so its incomparable.

side note: excelling in both is better for changes in situation and audience IMHO.

hopes that helped?

well, it depends on what you want to ressemble i would say. i like free hand though, im more comfortable with it and creative. i started with freehand liquid (shitty liquid might i add) and then saw lp eric hosting a few vids, and then seen my wiggles, i was like wow. this gets so deep.
sarah seen me get a lil crazy at memf but wasnt even close to the difine movements eric has up his sleeve.

i like stringing too, but feel to be more expressive with freehand. id rather freehand.

dude, you guys this is the man.... lperic

^^^ bryan, i mention to you about him and his vids, and tutorials....

man, eric, you got mad styl, and i admire your talent alot! , and look to improve my dance and expression everytime i study the tutorials. thank you for spending all the time you do to make them and broadcast them for us to watch.

you know that video of mr wiggles at club space in dc, that girl near the end, omg!!! why cant my gf dance like that... lol peace!! shes pimp!

Yeah, his vids are VERY helpful....I've gained some knowledge from them, no doubt....wish I was more fluid.

Well, again....it's not really a competitive ability. I wouldn't want to be in a competition against others. I'm only competitive with myself. It's the type of thing you could compete against other talents in something like a talent show, but as for competing against other glowstickers......I would be pretty against it.

IMO I'm the best. Hear me out before you shoot me down and say i'm full of myself. I know that by no one elses standard and in no one elses mind I'm the best, but If I dont keep myself inspired and motivated in the air time between raves ( 2-6 months) than I'll forget about freehanding/infinities. I think if we all thought more of ourselves we could just have more fun instead of worying about who's better.

Well stated...very true. Be confident at what you do....but don't go around bragging to everyone that you're the best or that you're so awesome cause that just makes you an egotistical douche bag. LOL.
