My hand is throbbing. Just thought I'd share that bit of information...
Soo call me a noob, but I can't do a butterfly? Theres like a million different tutorials on here for a bunch of different variations but I dunno how to do just a plain ol' butterfly?
Oh, and the freehand helicopter.. can't for the life of me figure that out.
Help?
... God I can't wait until I can safely say that I know how to glowstick >.<

You don't HAVE to use just our tutorials. I actually think I learned the butterfly from some guy on youtube.
Pretty much you can't have your directly parallel or what ever. they have to be on different "planes". I suck at helping but I try. Not to mention the planes on your strings have to be pretty much straight to other wise you'll always get tangled up.
As far as the helicopter well that takes practice and paitence. All of the stuff pretty much does. Just practice and you'll get it.
Hopefully you're hand will feel better.

I don't know which tutorials you've watched, but a "cheat", so to say, that I used to learn the butterfly was to stack a hand on top of the other. ( put my right over my left) Go slow and just keep at it, it'll click.
